"Rare Pair Of Wine Jugs, Copper. 17th-18th Century."
The high belly, laying on a double pedestal. The neck truncated cone, has a bead at its base. These 3 elements, forged and assembled by brass solder in wolf teeth are kept nested sealed by solder of tin. The bottle beak is reinforced by a bridle flange, riveted to the neck. Lumpy domed lid, decorated with triple flutes. Flat handle in console, with raised wings. Dinanderie work, rustic hammering apparent, but still elegant. Origin: Rhône Valley. Height: 39.5 cm and 40 cm. 17th-18th century. Very beautiful state. Free shipping by COLISSIMO for metropolitan France.
