Louis-Marie Jullien comes to Aubusson in 1936 and actively participates in the renewal of the tapestry following Lurçat, Maingonnat and Grommaire. His cartoons are a link between the dream worlds of Picart le Doux and Camille Saint-Saëns. And towards the end of his career, his art will evolve into abstraction, yielding to the taste of creative explorations of the time.
