From a dessert service by the Dagoty factory. A polychrome central scene of an animated troubadour scene, one of which depicts Dante's Paolo and Francesca inspired by Coupin de la Couperie's painting (1812), blue-bottomed marli adorned with neoclassical motifs with swans, palmettes and trophies in burnished gold, bordered with large gold threads. Very good state. Restoration period, made between 1815 and 1820. Red stamp mark "Manufacture of Madame Duchess of Angouleme PL Dagoty, E. Honoré in Paris", rare sales tag of the Manufacture Dagoty with the No. 35, and painted mark F undercover.
