Rare screen with neo-Gothic decoration Restoration period. Screen with six leaves in wallpaper. Decor says to the cathedral: Black marbled paper plinth. Underbase decorated with a frieze of polylobes imitating a Gothic balustrade. In the middle a repeating quadrilobed pattern. Gothic flamboyant gables with a quadrilobe in the center decorated with a star-shaped stained glass motif. At the top a frieze of stylized acanthus. The back is decorated with paper dominated by a repeating pattern of oak leaves in a beige and white checkerboard. Dimensions of a leaf: Length 49 cm x height 177 cm. Some wear. Towards 1830
