Object description :

"Small Mirror Of Toilet, Openwork Bronze Frame, Circa 1630"
334925 Mirror of charm: pretty dimensions: 40cm x 28cm, the frame is oak, very simple, covered in front of an octagonal gallery of bronze, openwork and formerly gilt, forming a solid nailed frame. A small pierced pediment, (bouquet of flowers in a vase), a ring of suspension ....
The glass is mercury silvered, which gives this beautiful depth to the faces that it reflects. Some stains, silver flaws, some scratches, as always .... Mirror is atypical, we will not see often.
Louis XIII, early seventeenth century, the glass which seems eighteenth must be a replacement, which is very suitable. Condition is good. The gilding of origin is only a memory in some hollows.
