"Louis Vidal - Pair Of Still Lifes"
Louis Vidal (1754 - died after 1805) Pair of dead nature: one with fruits and insects, the second with flowers and nest. Signed lower right. Some works of this artist appear in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Lille. Between 1790 and 1792 he worked in London exhibiting four times at the Royal Academy. Ouis Vidal The painter works in the tradition of the Dutch painters of the sixteenth and seventeenth as Jan Van OS.
