Poetic and romantic, this oil on canvas of the Provençal artist Henri Malfroy dit Savigny born in 1895 and died in 1944. The work, in good condition, measures 55 cm by 38 cm, 51 cm by 68 in its period setting, and represents a tartan at sunset, probably on Etang de Berre, where the artist, worthy son of Charles Malfroy, born in Martigues had his habits.
