"Quadrille: Series Of 4 Boxes Marquetry Straw End 18th Century"Classic suite of 4 boxes with chips Louis XVI period. Each has a slightly different decor on their cover in the pattern of a simple flower with 8 petals framed by several threads, fully covered with straw marquetry. The base of these boxes is of cardboard glued and covered with paper inside; for one of them a beautiful paper "dominoté", we would have liked to see it in the 4 boxes!
Note inside a cover a few words written in pencil illegible. However the other papers used, even for the underside are original. A few flashes here and there (visible on photos), we forgive them considering their age! Dimensions of each 8.2 cm x 5.8 cm approximately. Height: about 3 cm.
