Charming English Victorian Minton shell centerpiece featuring the putti wearing blue drapery is crowned with aquatic plants garlands and depicted holding a trident in his right hand, as symbol of the sea. The Nautilus shell supported on an oval base molded with weeds and shell in the border. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery, shape number #1885 and marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1876, measurements 11 ¼ x 5 ¼ x 18 ¼ inches height
