Seat of pilot of the "Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company, known under the letters P & O.It is blond mahogany varnished, of the late nineteenth, early twentieth.The foot, very heavy, is cast iron, with lions heads and legs. It turns on it self . The leather-covered wafer of the seat is for the cold,and can be removed to discover a cane bottom, on arriving in the warm countries.The initials of the company are carved on a background black, in the center of the backrest.Height: 80cm - Height of the seat: 49cm Seat diameter: 44cm
