Rare set of 12 watercolors, furniture projects of the house Bury, ebeniste in Paris, rue du faubourg saint antoine. Epoquefin of the 19th century. A handwritten note at the bottom of one of the boards indicates that the furniture was made in 1896 for a Mr. Hubert. Watercolors of superb quality are mounted on strong cardboard. Some stains or folds on the montages, the watercolors themselves are very clean. Most of the furniture is neo renaissance style or louis XIV representative of the taste of the time. The cabinet maker Bury son is probably a descendant of the famous Ferdinand Bury, ebeniste 18th century, installs rue de Charonne in the suburb Saint Antoine. This set of high quality has a large amount of decorative strength and we imagine a whole wall decorated with these watercolors. Overall dimensions: 47.5 cm by 32 cm.
