"A Fine Louis XV Side Table, Early 18th Century Circa 1730"
Side table carved and waxed Walnut Louis XV. It opens by a side drawer sliding in the curved belt under a cavity. This cavity is partitioned on its three sides by dovetail mounted panels entrenching the tray, each one is provided with grip in the form of polylobés orifices to facilitate its movement. The top is enshrined by three panels scalloped at their tops. All resting on a fine arched and chamfered feet four feet. The anterior ones receive at the shoulder an elegant work of foliated sculptures punctuated with flower buds. A 2/3 'a shelf between the legs joined the base punctuated by small hooves deer. We find in this piece of furniture the beautiful classical ornaments, where symmetry and balance are still cardinal virtues, dear to this beginning of reign of King Louis XV around 1730-1735.Dimensions Width 40.5cm, Depth 31cm, Height 81cm
