Rare and large silver pie shovel Restoration period. Sterling silver shovel of unusual shape with beautiful openwork decoration and engraved with patterns of foliage, flowers and shells. Wooden handle turned and blackened baluster shape. Hallmarks: - Michelangelo said Vieillard, Paris 1819-1838, 1st title. - Silversmith François-Pamphile Josan. François-Pamphile Josan's goldsmith's workshop was located at 19 rue Simon-Le-Franc in Paris in the goldsmiths district in the Marais. The FPJosan goldsmith's hallmark was instigated on August 12, 1824. It continued its activity until 1836. RESTORATION TIME. Superb finesse of carving. Dimensions: Length 34 cm. Width 8.5 cm.
