Exceptional pair of gilded bronze and patinated bronze andirons Louis XVI, attributed to J.CAFFIERI 1678-1755 Representative a brown patina cat raising the dough resting on a base of lightly draped bronze, which rests on 4 small turned feet Louis XVI. The second is a poodle sitting on a lightly draped bronze base which also rests on four Louis XVI turned feet. Exceptional pair of andirons can be mounted lamp, or decoratis object or can be mounted in andirons because the three small holes in the back was used to fix an iron bar.
