Rare weapon's room stool, in the « troubadour » style, patina spelter, rotating tray and bronze chains. It shows three jousting lances, crossed and gathered by a shield. Attributed to the Miroy Brothers Maison in Paris which was one leading company in Paris at the middle of the 19th century.Period : 1870

This foundry worked as well bronze as spelter and also coppered or bronze spelter . The combination of those two materials was one of the specialites of this Parisian foundry. It took part into the 1867 Paris World's Fair and exhibited a spelter sculpture in the troubadour style.
