"Pewter Pitcher. Rouen. Poinçon Of Queneville 1739."
Body in shoulder, on slightly flared foot. Lid with tassels. On the lid and on the bottom: VIGOR QUENEVILLE punch, active from 1700 to 1744. At the base of the foot: check punch from 1739. Height at lid: 26,5 cm. Very good condition. Many micro shocks and scratches of use under a background of silky patina. An identical model appears in the departmental museum of antiquities in Rouen.
