A chiselled gilt bronze clock representing the Allegory of the Sciences. Figure of Urania, a young woman standing and reading, is situated on the right side of the dial, on the left side is a column with an armillary sphere on the top.Library represented below the dial signed "Marion à Paris, Passage du Caire n°64". The base decorated with columns, garlands and fire pot. France. 19th century.
