After being a copyist at the Louvre Museum and professor of painting, he discovered a new conception of reality transfigured by color. Since then, many of his paintings will be inspired by the Mediterranean landscapes and strongly influenced by Provence. From his exhibitions in numerous shows, including the Autumn, the French Artists or the International of Burgundy, the artist has won awards rewarding his talent. From St Paul de Vence to Paris, the galleries welcomed the moving colors of Jean-Michel Barrat.
