"English Pearl Embroidery (pair Of Banners)"Interesting and curious pair of banners embroidered with pearls and woolen threads in shades of beige, white and brown. These mini standards are trimmed with passementerie and hung on a brass support finely decorated itself nested on a fine earthenware wand the imitation of ivory. Different feet in fine faience and brass support the whole. English stamp of origin under each of the feet, the one more visible indicating very precisely the time of these objects: 27 October 1869! Note a small crack in the lower part of a wand as well as missing pearls in a small square from the top to the center of the banner (visible on photos) I consider this object as rare and surprising by the freshness of its state and the originality of its design.
