Amazing Asymmetric Scissors, Quality Steel, Nineteenth flag

Object description :

"Amazing Asymmetric Scissors, Quality Steel, Nineteenth"
Amazing pair of scissors in forged steel, cut and tool worked, beautiful quality, of a rare form: two rings reentering, these scissors could enter a flat sheath, to be conveniently brung or hidden ... The work with these scissors required some learning, since the direction of the fingers must be asymmetrical, the ideal, with the right hand, being to direct the cut towards oneself. What could indicate a particular use?
Beautiful steel, perhaps Swedish, (the engraved hatchings resemble what was done in the Eskilstuna workshop), work of the nineteenth century. Great collection scissors!
