"Pair Of Large Fireplace Plates In XIXth Century"
Pair of large Cast iron chimney pots. Beautiful rider decor on his horse. Formerly arranged in a Lorraine chimney, on either side of a wall; One in the chimney, the other in the back of the wall, to radiate the heat in the adjacent room, as was often the case in large houses. They are large in size, but very slightly different in size: 100.5 x 132 for one 101 x 128.5 cm for the other. Thicknesses about 200 to 250 mm.
