"Moorish Moorish"
Orientalist animal painting by JB LOUIS GUY (1824/1888). Painter from LYON, famous for his hunting scenes, his subjects of genre, his portraits (Orientalist and others), his scenes of interior, landscapes and animals. It is also a sculptor (The Moor) and watercolorist. He studied at the Beaux Arts of LYOn, works for Bonnefond and Duclaux, Professor at the Beaux Arts, he teaches at Chenu, Beauverie.
