There is only the ball vase available, the cone is sold. polychrome mosaic vase marked GERBINO Vallauris comes from the workshop of master ceramicist Jean GERBINO (1876-1966) who invented a mosaic process by mixing colored earths. After having worked at the MASSIER as a turner, he then created his workshop in Algiers. Back in France, he worked in Uzes with the PICHON who use a mixed earth technique. He returned to Vallauris, after fifteen years of research he perfected a mosaic process or nériage in mixed earths which developed in his workshop in 1930. He obtained a grand prize in PARIS in 1931 for his process "GERBINO". These two vases are a good example of his technique. It is in good condition (the cornet vase was SOLD). The ball vase is 12 cm high and in diameter.Two other ball vases with different decor are available at the store .
