"Chandelier Silver Signed Henri Vian"
Superb bronze chandelier with original silver antique patina, illuminating by six arms of light as well as ten illuminating daggers, cut crystal and three interior lights. This very elegant 19th century chandelier is adorned with original plates (mostly large sizes, 18 cm) in Baccarat crystal, some of which are colored. HENRI VIAN (1858/1904), famous bronze-maker and founder, Boris Vian's grandfather, specialized in the production of ornamentation on the inside: fireplace, bronze vases, chandelier, balustrade, all of better quality.C Is at 5 rue de thorigny in Paris, present Picasso museum that he had installed his stores. Henri Vian participated in the various universal exhibitions of 1878, 1889, and 1900 and was a gold medalist in 1889.
