The work is presented in its original carved wooden frame decorated with silver leaf. Set in perfect condition, dimensions: 52 cm X 44 cm. François Szulman was born on June 5, 1931, in a family of Polish Jewish workers who arrived in France in 1926. He escaped the raid of Vel d'hiv on July 16, 1942, his father being a prisoner of war. Until the liberation in August 1944, he lived hidden in Belleville, district of Paris. He can not go to school. Gifted in drawing, he studied at the School of Applied Arts of Paris, since 1951 he has participated in the main Parisian fairs PAINTERS WITNESSES OF THEIR TIME, AUTUMN SALON, NATIONAL FINE ARTS, COMPARISONS ... It was Treasurer of the NATIONALE DES BEAUX-ARTS from 1984 to 1991. Figurative painter, he draws his themes in the life, joy and sorrow of our world.
