"Four Lyonnaise Chairs Louis XV, XVIIIth Century Around 1745"
Rare suite of four Lyonnaise chairs from the Louis XV period, XVIIIth c. 1740 Beautiful suite of four lounge chairs with flat backs with openings in braces and horizontal bars in polycarbonated light walnut wood, sculpted and waxed Lyonnaise school From the middle of the eighteenth century. Folding backs with the queen with molded shoulders with the violoned contours wide supported by belts scalloped all in set of curves and counter-curves centered of a typically Lyonnais floral decoration of buttons of rose and peonies, the whole resting on arched foot mounted acanthus. Balance, nervousness, elegance and quality are the most appropriate terms for this very nice suite of Lyonnaise chairs. Observations: good house condition, upholstery and straps are in fairly good condition but the fabric should be repaired. The choice of a new fabric will be studied with the future purchaser.
