CHARLES MAILLARD (1876 - 1973) Born in Cholet, he worked at the École des Beaux-Arts in Angers prior to entering the Superior National School of Fine Arts in Paris where he frequents the LOUIS-ERNEST BARRIAS AND JULES-FÉLIX COUTAN. FROM 1901, CHARLES MAILLARD EXHIBITS REGULARLY AT THE FRENCH ARTISTS SHOW, IT ALSO COMES TO THE PRICE OF ROME. IT WILL COLLABORATE WITH THE MANUFACTURE OF SEVRES AND HENRIOT IN QUIMPER PROPOSING THE EDITION OF MANY GROUPS, OFTEN FOR UTILITY. THE BRETONNE THEMATIC APPEARS IN ITS WORK FROM 1926.
