  • diptych compass, the lid with face a) an equinoctial dial graduated from 1 to 12 twice, framed with lambrequins blackened in black ink, face b) disk with acanthus decoration At the center, a lunar calendar, graduated hours and minutes, engraved with the inscription C Bloud A Dieppe, on the side a ruler for latitude, face c) compass basin numbered 8 to 1 and 12 to 4 , The azimuthal dial with compass, analemne indicating the months of the year; Face d) united, two metal clasps.
