Pair of candelabra, blue glass, gilt bronze, Carrara marble Louis XVI. Pair of candelabra with three shaped light arm vase with tulip and lily. The baluster vase is composed of a paunch blue glass, a pedestal, two twisted handles and a gilt bronze neck. Three branches of tulips form the sconces. In the center, the last branch is a lily more fulfilled. Since 1760, the first lily candlesticks appear. The branches are sometimes held by putti and female figures. Here, a glass baluster vase welcomes the flowers. The shape of the vase to the ancient, the game between contrasting materials (glass, bronze, marble), the use of white Carrara marble can be dated this pair of Louis XVI and more precisely 1780s Restorations use and maintenance.
