"Victorian Enamelled Tussie Mussie, Bouquet Holder "
Victorian enamelled Tussie Mussie, bouquet holder. The vase is gold metal and consists of four scrolls decorated with plants sets and two glazed ceramic rings on each of which there are three locations that may have been covered with stones or diamonds? On the belt and on the handle cap are fixed two chains, one connected to the fixed-bouquet needle and the other to the ring. The floral decoration of glazed ceramic sleeve is inspired porcelain sets and evokes the eighteenth century, dear to the Second Empire. Probably France, circa 1850. It measures 13 cm long. A very similar pattern is found in the catalog of the exhibition of the Cognac-Jay museum devoted to the bouquet holders in 2005, No. 43, page 108
