Statue in polychrome plaster John Gabriel (1802-1840) is a Vincentian priest, martyred in China in the nineteenth century. Declared venerable in 1843 by Pope Gregory XVI, beatified November 10, 1889 by Pope Leo XIII canonized June 2, 1996 by Pope John Paul II. Saint John Gabriel is the first Chinese martyr canonized. His feast was set for September 11th. Size height 130 cm width 60 cm. some chips and gaps, restoration estimate on request.
