Full catalog: www.nice-antiques.com Nikola Martinoski (Macedonian: Никола Мартиноски), born in Krushevo August 18, 1903 and died February 7, 1973 in Skopje, was a Macedonian expressionist painter. After studying art in Skopje, graduated in 1927 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania. Then he spent two years at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris, where studied included Amedeo Modigliani and Boris Anrep and where he receives lessons from artists like Moise Kisling and Roger Bissière. Back in Skopje, he exhibited for the first time in 1929 and during his life he presents his works in Belgrade, Zagreb, Paris ... He died at 69 years and donated 62 paintings to his hometown Krushevo.
