beautiful walnut door 1835 carved walnut completely dismantled into three parts.
probably a nutcracker or Nutcracker.
chopped finely and fully decorated with coats of arms, animals, scrolling foliage and a fable by Jean de La Fontaine: the stork and the fox.
pretty good job despite the lack of a small button on the top cover.
beautiful object of curiosity and folk art.
