"Drawing Ink Brown Cavalier Wins Napoleon Empire"
Drawing done in brown ink heightened in pencil (yellow and gray). The main advantage of this design comes from the amount of detail and symbols present with the first names of the battles won by Napoleon's army during the Empire cited in chronological order. We also see little Imperial eagle at the top of the flag, a very detailed equipment of the rider and the horse, noted the decor checkerboard on the rump of it. Drawing signed, located and dated December 6, 44 (obviously for 1844). Good condition, drawing made on paper that has been folded (traces of folds, discreet but visible), a very small hooked above the rider's head and brown spots are reported. We are at your disposal for any further information. Drawing Dimensions: 20.7 cm x 26.5 cm Overall dimensions: 28.5 cm x 35.5 cm
