Large thumbnail on paper. Is a young woman with book. romantic portrait painted around 1836. Presence of signing Johann Baptista Vanacker (1794-1863), famous Flemish miniaturist. Born in Bruges, He studied at Ducq. It quickly became popular as a miniaturist. In 1834 in Paris, he was recognized as one of the best performers in its class. After his return to Bruges, he was called by King Leopold in Brussels to execute many miniatures of the royal family and members of the court in nice condition, some wear paper.
