Born in 1890 in Liege. Died in 1959 in Kisenyi (Rwanda). Twentieth century, Belgian painter active since 1974 in Zaire. Painter of landscapes, lively compositions and portraits. Post-Impressionist style. He had E. Witte as profesor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Liege. His palette is bright, he made picturesque paintings.
