Pen, black and red ink, wash and watercolor on laminated layer on strong laid paper.

Accidents and lacks due to the fragility of the support.

This map on layer is the personal copy for the Count of Argenson, Secretary of State for War of Louis XV, of the military maps used in campaigns of Nice and Genoa from 1744 to 1748.

Unique and rare piece of history of the County of Nice.

Provenance: private collection of Count d'Argenson, secretary of state of the war of Louis XV, by descent to present day.
