"Large Regence Wardrobe In Wallnut, France XVIIIth Century"
Large and unusual Regency period wardrobe of Vallée du Rhône, in finely carved walnut. It's decorated with a coat of arms of the Dukes of Burgundy. A young couple is carved in the center of the top, surrounded by flower garland and flanked by two Chinese dragons, symbolizing prosperity and serenity. With original "espagnolette" lock and key.
