  • Catherine Eleonore Remshard (1704-1767) is a famous German miniaturist of the middle of the XVIIIth century for the quality of its design and especially the rendering of hands. The technique used is that of the visible but melted dashed. She worked in Augsburg, Bayreuth, Vienna and Stuttgart. In 1745 a contract was done for six miniatures in Stuttgart to portray the Prince Archbishop, portraits of the Minister Count Koblenzl and sculptor Whilmen Beyer...
