Our pencil drawing is based on a counterproof of the original drawing by Saint -Jean. By its size and its technique, it is very close to works executed by the Jean Berain agency for the Menus Plaisirs du Roi, some leaves of similar size to ours are retained in the Fund of the House of the King. It can therefore be attributed to an unknown artist working for Jean Berain II as part of the Court's celebrations.

Laid paper with watermark. Few accidents on the corners, good condition.
