"Sparrow Royal Copenhagen Porcelain"
Porcelain bird dated from the beginning of the 20th century with B & G signature. Bing & Grondahl is a famous Danish factory making fine porcelains from 1853 to the present. Underglaze blue decoration was started in 1886. The firm has used the initials B & G and a stylized castle as part of the mark since 1898. JP signature was for the painter and sculptor. 1607 was for chromatic range. This porcelain bird is in perfect condition in spite of its age.
