"Pot De Famille Verte, Samson, France, Late Nineteenth Century"
A porcelain pot probably made before the French firm of Samson. Painted in a famille verte palette in the style of Kangxi period Chinese wares. Glazed porcelain, hand painted. Samson, France, late 19th/early 20th century. Height 26.5 cm, width 14.5 cm, depth 12.5 cm. Preserved condition as seen in photos, good, has holes in top and base, probably used for lamp wires.
