View of a channel on mahogany panel. Edouard Pail 1851 - 1916 (Nièvre) Painter of genre scenes, animated landscapes, landscapes. He was a pupil of Lavoignat. He began in Paris, at the Salon of 1870, of which he was a member from 1888 (Salon des Artistes Français) He obtained an honorable mention in 1887, a 3rd class medal in 1893. Dimensions without frame: 35 x 26.5 cm Dimensions with frame: 50 x 42 cm
