Rare piece of collection, This Kachan SOOF Rug, made of Silk with Silver Metal thread, of Iranian origin, Late 19th Century Designed in silk, embossed, and brocaded with silver metal thread. On a gold background, with multicolored flower branches, and a bluish tone medallion, framed by 4 spandrels with vegetal scrolls. As for the main border, it is in gold, surrounded by counter borders with flowers. The gold color is brocaded with gold metal threads, which gives this relief aspect of the carpet, for the chains they are in natural silk of gold color. Measurements: Length: 211 cm Width: 138.5 cm
