Rare antique poker playing card set in very good condition depicting scenes from Beijing during the Boxer Rebellion in China.

The Forbidden City in Beijing and Chinese views. Souvenir playing cards.
Deck of 52 cards (out of 54, including the Joker and the list of thumbnails). Each of the cards features a photograph of the Imperial Palace or major buildings in Beijing as well as scenes from daily life and the Boxer Rebellion.
The gilding of the edges is in good condition.
On the original case (detached but whole) with brown drawer as well as on the Joker, in golden letters:
