"19th Century French Fan, Mother-of-pearl "
19th Century French fan. The frame is in engraved and pierced mother-of-pearl. The double leaf in paper and skin. It is painted on both sides with gallant scenes. In its original embossed cardboard box decorated with flowers reminiscent of those engraved on the frame. It measures 10,71 inches long when closed and 20,47 inches in diameter when open. France, circa 1860.
