Palais Royal: Perfume Burner: Offering To Love, Directoire Period

Precious object, engraved mother-of-pearl and gilded bronze (ormolu), featuringing Offering to the Love by a young girl, accompanied by a Cupid carrying the basket of offerings.
Superb French Directoire period object, circa 1790's, small size and high quality.
Good general condition for this object of more than 2 centuries.
I did not touch gilding, which, cleaned, must be exceptional.
Original perforated lid of the incense burner having disappeared, one of the former owners found this replacement button. Take a good look on our photos.....
