18th century engraving, engraved by Thomas Chambars (1724-1789) after Lenoir, on a drawing by Pietro Giacomo Palmieri (1737 Bologna – 1804 Turin).
Caption: “Model of virtues admired Respected Turenne dies within Immortality And leaves Eternels Regrets in French hearts” dedicated to Monsignor Alexandre Maris-Eleonor de Saint-Mauris, Prince of Montbarey and of the Holy Empire.
