"Daybed From 18th Century "
Daybed or alcove sofa in molded and carved natural wood, with four detached columns surmounted by a finely worked ball and four feet on their original casters. Very good quality of the sculpture and patina of the wood. XVIIIth century. One of the crosspieces along its length has been replaced but the original pearl stripe sculpture has been retained and remounted invisibly. New bed base and mattress, upholstery completely redone with a blue "Toile de Jouy" collection fabric on an off-white background. Dimension of the mattress alone: 1.72 cm x 0.72 cm
