Pewter apple-shaped DINNER HOLDER, with short foot, central grip lid and swinging handle.
Control hallmark: C crowned / AVALLON.
Hallmark of Etienne SERGENT received master in 1769: crowned hammer / ES / 1769.
Height at the throat: 11.5 cm.
AVALLON, Last third of the 18th century

Very good condition
Unusual shape for this center whose productions are usually tapered
